About Founder
Demone Cook founder of PA has over 23 years of sobriety and addiction education.
Joe McQuany’s Recovery Dynamics model introduced him to the 12 step program that brought about an entire psychic change in his life that took him from a drunk and high gang member and changed him into a father, a husband, a friend, and productive member in society. Demone spends most of his time with his family and helping others recover from any addiction they want to improve from.
On 5-18-1997 Demone took his last drink and drug. Recovering from an infected gunshot wound in his stomach, he landed in The Healing Place, a 24 hour detox in Louisville KY. He surrendered to a Power greater than himself and applied the 12 step program to his life. He went back to school, achieved his GED, enrolled in college and majored in business management. He went on to become an internationally certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Clinical supervisor who has used the Kelly Foundations Model Recovery Dynamics throughout his journey of helping others. His 23 years of experience in the field of addiction treatment varies across a broad spectrum; including the homeless population at The Healing Place (KY), Seven Counties Light House adolescent population, Hotel California (KY) church population, Ten Broeck hospital, gang prevention workshop at Indiana University, adolescent gang prevention inpatient to outpatient Hope, Restoration, & Wellness Learning Center (AR) and worked at Serenity Park’s men and women’s treatment center in Little Rock Arkansas from 2007-2013.
He also has assisted with training other professionals in implementing Recovery Dynamics nationally and internationally throughout Europe, Japan and Africa.
